Exquisite oil painting on board in a timber frame.

Signed "C. Wheeler" lower right. Our stock label along with the remnants of a Hawthorn Galleries label attached verso.

There is a single hair from the artist's brush embedded in the paint centre right but the painting is otherwise in very good condition for a work of this age. The frame is marked and worn.
