    Signed and dated "Dennis Ramsay MMIII" (2003) lower left. The title of the painting is inscribed verso.

    The painting is in excellent condition, however the frame is showing signs of wear.

     

    Dennis Ramsay is represented in the collections of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and The National Trust, Grantham House, Lancashire as well as institutional and private collections in Britain, the United States and Australia. Some of his more important commissions include portraits of Prince Phillip, Sir Winston Churchill, Princess Alexandria Sir Robert Menzies, Dame Flora Macloud, and King Faisal of Iraq.
