Exquisite large oil painting on board in an ornate period frame.

Signed and dated "James R Jackson 54" lower right.

The subject of the painting is identified in a letter to a previous owner of the painting. See letter attached verso

There are some small surface marks and a scratch above the signature lower right, but the painting is otherwise in good condition for a work of this age. The frame shows minor wear.
